In this sense it has a logistics management role in an efficient, timely, and relevant throughout its value chain. Most organizations are lack of practical tools that allow them the identification and management of logistics processes in relation to their impact on customer expectations and strategic objectives of the organization. In line with this, in this paper we propose a procedure based on the Supply Chain Operations Reference model (SCOR) for linking business objectives with the operations of the logistics process and develop a systematic approach to identify, monitor and improve, their performance from the perspective of the firm as a link in the supply chain. Their integration with the Balanced Scorecard tool is a powerful intangible combination that enables comprehensive management and continual improvement by integrating the three levels of management and facilitating the decision making process efficiently and proactively. |

El éxito de toda organización depende cada vez más de que sus procesos empresariales se encuentren alineados con su rumbo estratégico y permitan la gestión del cambio proactivamente. En este sentido tiene un papel preponderante la gestión logística demanera eficiente, relevante y oportuna, a lo largo de su cadena de valor. La mayoría de las organizaciones carecen de herramientas prácticas que permitan la identificación y gestión de sus procesos logísticos en relación con su impacto en las expectativas de los clientes y los objetivos estratégicos de la organización. En correspondencia con lo anterior, en este artículo se propone un procedimiento basado en el Modelo de Referencia de las Operaciones de la Cadena de Suministro o del inglés modelo SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference model) que permite vincular los objetivos del negocio con las controlar y mejorar su desempeño desde la perspectiva de la empresa como eslabón de la cadena de suministro. Su integración con la herramienta Balanced Scorecard constituye una poderosa combinación intangible que permite la gestión integral y mejora continua del sistema integrando los tres niveles de dirección y facilitando el proceso de toma de decisiones de manera eficiente y proactiva.
