Gregorio Salvador Caja

Salvador in Paris, April 1968. Gregorio Salvador Caja (11 July 1927 – 26 December 2020) was a Spanish linguist specialized in structural semantics. Salvador was born in Cúllar, Granada, and studied at the University of Granada and Complutense University. He was one of the most important disciples of Manuel Alvar. He wrote for the Spanish newspaper ABC.

Salvador was elected to Seat ''q'' of the Real Academia Española on 5 June 1986, he took up his seat on 15 February 1987.
