El objetivo del presente trabajo es proponer la implementación de una gestión para uso eficiente de los recursos energéticos con menor emisión de gases a la atmósfera en el Central Azucarero "14 de Julio". La búsqueda bibliográfica, la caracterización energética y las Normas ISO ayudaron a definir los indicadores básicos del proceso y los índices de consumo: (kWh/tcaña molida) y (tbagazo/tcaña molida). Se comparó el comportamiento energético de los años 2013, 2014 y 2015; por mejor nivel de eficiencia energética se tomó el 2015 y se traza como línea meta reducir un 8% el consumo de bagazo y energía eléctrica con relación al año base. Se validó el procedimiento propuesto en la zafra 2016, y se logró que el monto de la inversión de la implementación se recupere en menos de un año con reducción de emisión de los gases contaminantes: CO2 y SOx. The objective of this work is to propose the implementation of a management for efficient use of the energy resources with smaller emission of gases to the atmosphere in the Sugar Mill "14 de Julio". The bibliographic search, the energy characterization and the ISO Norms helped to define the basic indicators of the process and the consumption rates: (kwh / t milled cane) and (t bagasse / t milled cane). The energy performance of the years 2013, 2014 and 2015 was compared; as a reference of better level of energy efficiency it was taken the year 2015 and it was set the goal of reducing in 8% the consumption of bagasse and electrical power in relation to that year.
