El objetivo del trabajo es comparar el blanqueo con peróxido de hidrógeno de pulpas quimimecánicas de latifoliadas implantadas, utilizando procesos en una y dos etapas. Se emplearon pulpas a la soda fría de mezclas salicáceas y eucalyptus provenientes de la fábrica Zárate de Celulosa Argentina S.A. Se realizaron ensayos preliminares con el objetivo de observar el comportamiento de la pulpa al aplicar un blanqueo en una y dos etapas, con respecto al tiempo de reacción. Sobre la base de los resultados de laboratorio, se considera superior la aplicación de un sistema de blanqueo en dos etapas. Se proponen alternativas de modificación del proceso aprovechando la tecnología disponible en la fábrica.
