Este trabajo se introduce en el tema de la educación enfocada a la formación de valores en los futuros profesionales a través de la actividad científico-técnica, apoyándose en el ejemplo práctico real que representa el Grupo Científico Estudiantil GIDAM, asociado al Departamento de Telecomunicaciones y Electrónica de la Universidad de Pinar del Río. Además de la presentación de algunos de los aspectos teóricos básicos sobre el tema, se ofrece una descripción de la manera concreta en la que se materializa esta interrelación en la dinámica de trabajo del grupo científico estudiantil. GIDAM ha demostrado el importante rol que juega el colectivo científico-técnico en la formación de los valores de sus integrantes al crear las relaciones sociales que determinan dicha formación.
