These products come from Paraguay, Brazil and Uruguay and are purchased by poor people at street stands. Medicines from a manufacturing plant in Posadas- Misiones, delivered at the public hospital and health centers were also analysed. Pharmaceutical products from categories 1, 2 and 3 from ANMAT (National Administration of Medicines, Food and Technology) were also evaluated. The results obtained showed that such products did not exceed the microbiological standards established by the National Institute of Drugs (INAME) and by ANMAT. No pathogens microorganisms were detected in the analyzed products. |

El propósito de este trabajo fue determinar la calidad higiénica a través de la enumeración de aerobios mesófilos, coliformes totales, hongos y levaduras, la detección de microorganismos patógenos en productos farmacéuticos siguiendo técnicas de la Administración de Alimentos y Drogas (FDA) y la valoración de antibióticos obtenidos del comercio ilegal y del sistema provincial de salud. Estos productos provienen de Paraguay, Brasil y Uruguay y son adquiridos por la población de escasos recursos en puestos callejeros, se analizaron además productos de una planta elaboradora local. Productos farmacéuticos de las categorías 1, 2 y 3 dispuestas por la Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (ANMAT), también fueron evaluados. Los resultados hallados no superaron los estándares microbiológicos establecidos por el Instituto Nacional de Medicamentos (INAME) y la Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (ANMAT). No se detectó presencia de patógenos en ninguno de los productos analizados.
