In the urban area, it was observed that more incisive measures in relation to planning for stream conservation, such as protection of riparian forest, withdrawal of untreated sewage and solid waste from the riverside, should be put into practice, thus allowing the Mumbuca Stream continues to provide safe water for this population.…”
